In 2020, we faced the heartbreak, the challenge, and the joy of watching our neighbors struggle, pull together, and persevere through difficult times. In a year of uncertainty, we wanted to be a part of the effort to make our community stronger, and the Werner Cares Initiative was born.
We partnered with the Tri-Cities Habitat for Humanity to install a new roof on one of their recent projects in the Grand Haven area.
Werner Roofing and GAF donated all materials and labor.
We auctioned a roofing project to raise money for Ottawa Cares. 100% of the proceeds were distributed to three local organizations:

We asked you to nominate your local Healthcare Hero to receive a 100% free roof replacement. After receiving over 100 applications for your West Michigan heroes, we were honored to meet recipients Jennifer and Fed Kilbry of Spring Lake, MI.
Their brand-new roof, valued at $12,000, was installed in October 2020.
